beauty wellbeing belonging
~Lewis Carroll
we live in a world that has forgotten the language of the body
a world that demands we sacrifice wholeness on the altar of compliance
that measures worth by output rather than presenceperhaps you know this cost intimately
the shoulders that carry tension as familiar as an old coat
the mind that races even at rest
the subtle alienation from the joy that once flowed unbiddenlythis separation is not your failing
but a collective forgettingwhen systems force us to function in a constant state of survival
our deepest gifts ~ the ones the world most desperately needs
remain buried beneath the noise of copingi do not offer escape, but remembrance
not another obligation, but an invitation
to trust the innate knowing of your cells
waiting patiently for your surrender
Offerings
private and small group sessions
i make sheltered space for relaxation and restoration, where we can
safely and softly initiate the courageous voyage into self inquiry.
we begin each session with centering and comforting practices.
once at ease, the thinking mind settles, giving way to imagination.
in this magical place, we begin to discover who we truly are
and ask ourselves what we truly want.
soon, we come to realise that the answers to these questions
are ever-evolving and they live inside of us.

the ancestors knew that the body is a temple.
their dances, their poses, their intentional stillness..
these were not performances, but prayers made flesh.
together, we reclaim these ancient technologies,
allowing them to sing through modern bodies,
yearning for connection to tradition.
i teach:
Vinyasa Yoga
Aerial Yoga
GYROTONIC® exercise
Therpeutic Circus Arts

before there were words, there were vibrations.
before thought, there is resonance.
the rhythm of the heartbeat knows a steadiness
that the mind finds easy to lose.
in sacred sensing, we dissolve the illusory boundaries
between what we once were and what we are becoming.

inspiration

since i can remember, i’ve been fascinated by the human body
and how breathtakingly beautiful it is. my curiosity led me to explore
all things that allowed me to understand the body in all its wonder:
dance, fitness, figure drawing..as i blossomed, i turned towards biological and behavioural sciences~
disciplines that helped me to understand the even more intricately interwoven
systems beneath our physical and emotional states.
making this exploration experiential, i pursued my passion for dance, learning
to use movement and rhythm as a form of pure expression, release, and return.the threads that traced my lifepath spun together and led me to Yoga,
which became my haven and gave me a holistic context for health and healing.
in 2010, i became a certified Yoga Teacher.
and less than two years later, i was struck by a pickup truck while riding my bike.
this opened my heart and brought forth a yearning that was
meant to be my calling all along. my practice became more internally focused,
and this formed the root of my authentically trauma-informed teaching style.in 2016, the universe whispered, and i responded.
i found myself in the Amazon Jungle, where i offered yoga and sound healing
in exchange for a place at a plant medicine retreat.
i sat with traditional healers and i awakened to the forest herself as a teacher.
i began to understand healing not as a product that we attain,
but a process that we attune to..
a returning the the rhythm of ourselves and all of life around us.
on New Year’s Eve i moved to Miami where i offered yoga,
meditation, and sound healing. sun, ocean, and movement were my medicine.
i surpassed my perceived potential and became obsessed with pole dancing,
igniting a fire stronger than any i’d ever felt before.
with a new-found focus on strength and recovery, i’ve added Gyrotonic Exercise
and Personal Training to my repertoire. and i am now a certified Health Coach.my work is as rigorous as it is mystical.
and the bounds are ever-expanding.
my affinity for art, music, dance, and nature is more than aesthetic;
to me, it is essential to survival.
my personal path informs my professional practice at every turn,
and i’m eager to use all of my life’s learning in service of wellness for all.
let us play.

questions
what's the difference ?
you do most of the talking
i assume you are the expert
we make plans for the future
i do most of the talking
you assume i am the expert
we do activities in the present
there is not much talking
we just have an experience
we transcend time and space
which offering(s) do i need ?
you know best what you need. it may be more than one thing, and it will be different things at different times. bring your curiosity to our consultation and we'll find the best place to start together.
will you tell me how to be healthy ?
not exactly. what it means to “be healthy” varies widely from person to person, and we each get to determine this for ourselves. this is one of the fundamental guiding principles of health coaching. together, we will explore what being healthy means to you, and you will establish goals that reflect this vision of wellness. i’ll support you in designing an action plan for reaching your health goals, and i will amplify your accountability by walking with you as you step into your power and wellbeing.
isn't coaching the same as therapy ?
while there are many similarities between coaching and therapy, and both sometimes use some of the same techniques, they are not the same. therapy focuses on processing experiences of the past, and coaching focuses on planning experiences in the future. therapy helps us to figure out why we behave the way we do, and coaching helps us to figure out how to change our behaviour.
can i stop going to therapy once i start going to coaching ?
coaching can be a wonderful complement to mental health care, but coaching is not a substitute for mental health care. a health coach is not qualified to diagnose or treat mental health conditions, and this also means that a health coach is not qualified to determine whether or not a mental health condition needs treatment or what kind of treatment a mental health condition does or doesn’t need. it’s best to discuss decisions about changes to treatment plans with your mental health care provider.
shouldn’t i be able to do this stuff on my own ?
something really magical happens when people connect and work together. sometimes just knowing someone is there listening makes you feel safe enough for your nervous system to quiet down so you can just hear yourself think. even teachers need teachers. even therapists need therapists. it’s transformative to feel supported by someone whose expertise you trust. you can certainly do it on your own, but it doesn’t hurt to have a little company.
connection
great transformations initiate at the tiniest gestures.
your return to wholeness requires not grand upheaval,
but the simple courage to remember what has always been true.reach out for a dialogue of discovery.
when you feel ready, we will explore what might be possible
when wellbeing becomes not luxury but necessity.every journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step,
but before that step, there is the moment of hearing the call.
i will be here, steady as a heartbeat, when that moment arrives.
